Whose BIRTHRIGHT is it to lay claim on it?

With the emperor dead,  the empire quickly plunged into disarray…The emperor had produced no heir to the throne, thus with his death come the end to one of the greatest bloodlines of Cerilia. The Roele line was no more. War came upon the land once again…

Still in my days my dear Aeric, nothing has changed. The throne is still empty,the would-be successors still maneuver into positions of power that will give them the upper hand in this power struggle.

Their ambition will only bring destruction to the land. Both prince Avan and the archduke Boeruin consider themselves suitable for the throne and…yes there are other players too Aeric. Heirl Diem still daydreaming, hopes he can bring Diemed back to its former glory. The one that really worries me is the Baron of Ghoere,how far can one man’s ambition strech? I wonder…All these I reject, thou they are great men, they concern  themselves more with personnal glory, than the good of the empire.

What? you ask why I make no move to claim the throne myself. No my friend. This position of power is not for me.I am but a simple guardian, a watcher.In time,my dear Aeric, in time the land will choose its new Champion and then…then we shall see days of glory again.

Until that time comes I’ll stand and I’ll wait. The throne shall have no one to sit upon it,the Imperial city shall have no King, the empire no emperor…
